Sanibel Officer Anthony Neri poses with a future police office during the Preschool’s Pumpkin Patch Party.

Sanibel Christian Preschool celebrated with an annual Pumpkin Patch Party on October 31. Teachers, students, and even parents dressed in their favorite costumes for the occasion. Even the playground playhouse was decked out as a tractor with a “costume” created by teacher Lora Lea Plummer.

The school extends a special thank you to Sanibel Police Officer Anthony Neri for stopping by so a student could compare his costume to Officer Neri’s uniform.

After a brief concert by the students, all spent a fun morning of face painting, cookie decorating (and eating), and picking out their own pumpkins to take home. Director Ana Abella along with teachers Lora Lea Plummer and Nancy Black made sure each student had plenty of help so that they could enjoy each activity.

Sanibel Christian Preschool is a community outreach by the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, offering a quality education with plenty of love for 2-, 3- and 4-year-old students. To register your child or for more information about the Preschool, please contact Director Ana Abella at 239-472-0497 or visit www.sanibelucc.org/preschool.
